MONDAY
1. NOTES: Record How to write a thesis statement in Class Notes section of CLASS NOTEBOOK
2. DOCUMENTARY: Gather evidence for research paper on the Moors
3. THESIS SENTENCE: Write a thesis with the Moor you will be researching using the how to vid above.
HW: Have a thesis ready to share on Tuesday for a grade.  Needs to be in 7-point writing section.

TUESDAY 
**NO ZOOM TODAY. WORK INDEPENDENTLY**
1. COMMONLIT: Read Booker T. Washington vs. W.E.B Duboise. Highlight and annotate each paragraph for the author's arguments or central idea, complete multiple choice and short response questions. 
HW: COMMONLIT and Thesis sentence due Thurs 24th. 

THURSDAY
1. Review CommonLit on Booker T. vs. WEB Duboise
2. Score short response
3. Revise short response for extra credit
4. Share thesis statements
5. How to start Research Process?
HW: Finish revisions of short response and begin gathering research for paper.

FRIDAY
1. Finish Scoring CommonLit: Booker T and WEB Du Bois
